Just Say No
er Eid is way gone, so y not wait for ‘big’ Eid and do it all then?
Asalamu alaykum,
On the day of Eid, most people come for the salaah and then leave to spend time with their families and friends.
So, we have am eid bazaar followed by a lecture by the imam a couple weeks later to bring people back to the masjid, to support local businesses, to promote activities in the masjid, to increase the community spirit, and to remind us that Islam is more than just the month of Ramadan.
