Deleted RIS Mawlid Video
Mujahideen Ryder asked that I delete the apparently controversial mawlid video from GoogleVideo and I have complied, although it seems that there might be a delay from Google’s side since after I deleted it, it is still accessible.
UPDATE: Seems Google has gotten around to removing it from their servers.
SECOND UPDATE: Ignoring the naysayers, back by popular demand.

The video might be back soon by popular demand. And if so, people use DownloadHelper or KeepVid if you want to keep it.

Not to bash Sh.Hamza or Imam Zaid, I love them for the sake of Allah, and have benefitted greatly from them. That said, I’m not down with the Mawlid…
May Allah preserve our scholars, and save us all from misguidance. Ameen.

That reminds me of a really striking gem I heard somewhere (I think from one of the AlMaghrib Instuctors).
It was in the form of a question…

I asked for Muslim Apple to take it down, becuase I wrongly titled it RIS Mawlid when it had nothing to do with RIS, it was a PRIVATE mawlid.
That is the reason why. I was not suppose to record it. I did something against the organizers of the Mawlid’s wish.
They have asked me to remove from everywhere.

I should add that if you want me to email you the video link, then just reply by saying email me or something like that. You do not have to publish your email address because I can see the email address that you used to fill out the comment form in the blog admin panel.
Actually if the Video has no connection to RIS, then it’s fine. The reason everyong was concerned was because it was attributed to RIS, when it was done in a Hotel room and at night after the RIS program was finished.
Google ‘mawlid’ in a video search and look at the other mawlids! haha
